CALCINED PETROLEUM COKE
The Green Petroleum Coke is a byproduct of oil refining process. Green Petroleum Coke is to be Calcined after extraction. Calcining is done in a rotary kiln to temperatures of 1600oC. CPC has Fixed Carbon Content of 99% +/- and Volatile Content < 0.5% . Sulpher content varies depending on the crude used to make the Green Petroleum Coke and will vary from 0.5 - 3.0%. CPC finds its application in Aluminum, Steel, Ferro Alloys, Backfill, Refractories, etc. We at Sea Som Carbon Company supply to various industries based on the particular specifications required which includes the sizing.
INJECTION COKE / INJECTION CARBON
Injection Coke is product derived from Metallurgical Coke. The technique of Foaming Slag using Carbon in the EAF is used to increase productivity, lower operating costs and increase the quality of steel produced. It is also used as deoxidizing agent. The above product is manufactured at our Gujarat & Maharashtra units. We have facilities which include blending, drying, screening & packing. The above product is manufactured according to individual customer requirement and special care is taken with regard to sizing & product specification.
CARBON RAISER
Carbon Raiser is a derivative from Calcined Petroleum Coke & Calcined Anthracite. This product can be used as a pure carbon additive. We monitor percentage of sulphur for this product as the customers of this product require minimal level of sulphur. The above product is supplied to every steel manufacturer from ingot manufacturing to beams & coil manufacturer.
MET COKE / COKE BREEZE
Metallurgical coke, also known as Met coke, is a carbon material manufactured by the destructive distillation of various blends of bituminous coal. Metallurgical coke is used where a high quality, tough, resilient, wearing carbon is required. Applications include but are not limited to conductive flooring, foundry coatings, foundry carbon raiser, corrosion materials, heat treatment, ceramic packing media, and electrolytic processes. Primary purpose is for fuel in Blast Furnaces. The smaller size is what is known as Coke Breeze. Coke Breeze or Met Coke fines have the bulk application in cement manufacturing, sintering process & in zinc manufacturing. Along with the above application it required by many small industries.
LAM COKE
Low Ash Metallurgical Coke commonly known as LAM Coke, has similar process as that of Met Coke. The above product has application in foundries, blast furnace, Soda Ash manufacturing, chemical plants & non-ferrous metal industry. We at Sea Som Carbon, source the above product from coke ovens with whom we are associated since long time. The above product is stocked at our Gujarat & Maharashtra units, through which we cater our customers.
BRIQUETTED COKE
Coke briquettes or Carbon briquettes is manufacturing using the fines generated in our production process. The briquettes are manufactured using organic binders under high pressure which binds the fines in oval or round moulds. After which the material is being dried which increases the strength of the material and enable to handle the material with efficiency. Briquettes is used to replace part of the Foundry Coke usage, soda ash manufacturing, barbecues, etc.
PETROLEUM COKE
Petroleum Coke or Pet Coke is a manufactured carbon product produced at a limited number of oil refineries. A petroleum coke result from the thermal processing of residual oil, which has been cracked or otherwise processed to remove low boiling fractions and is produced in delayed coker installed at oil refineries. Petroleum coke is used in applications where high quality non-graphitic carbons are required. Fuel grade pet coke has many application such as in tunnel furnace, cement manufacturing, titanium dioxide manufacturers, copper manufacturing and in affect it find its application in every industry where high calorific value product is required to generate high temperature. We process the above product according to individual customer requirement, with regard to sizing, moisture & packing.
